Ranitomeya sirensis "Orange"

Ranitomeya sirensis "Orange"

Ranitomeya sirensis "Orange" or "Orange Panguana".

Line:Ā Old Line

Ranitomeya sirensis "Orange" hail from Peru, often found breeding in heliconia and other bromeliads. They do well in pairs or trios, and haveĀ limited aggression toward one another. They areĀ less territorial than some other Ranitomeya, like fantastica.Ā R.Ā sirensis usually lay 4-8 eggs in leaf litter or on vegetation, and may also lay underwater.Ā Tadpoles can be pulled or left to be raised by adults, but may cannibalize if left with other tadpoles in proximity with less-than-adequate food. Minor egg eating may occur from rival females. No more than aĀ pair should go in a 10 gallon vertical conversion tank or a 12 x 12 x 18 ExoTerra tank, but we recommend larger enclosures. Please contact us with further questions.Ā
